I think I got most of what happened right and it was pretty predictable, and freaking awesome! Laughter, tears, the whole gambit. They nailed it. I kept saying that Nate would wind up coaching Richmond, but, I also speculated that it could be Roy, which it turned out to be. Rebecca meets her Dutch boat person again, but different than I imagined it, but still, we all saw that as a possibility. Rupert gets his comeuppance (Wanker, wanker!), and of course, they use Nate's play to tie the game. I thought they could go the way of having them win/tie the game but Man City win also and take the title. It was well played not revealing that right away. The one thing that surprised me is that the therapist was still with Ted's ex. So we don't exactly know if they will reconcile or, if he will just be there. Nice touch having Ted manage his son's soccer team. I thought he might get an offer from the local MLS club, but this works too. And of course Trimm's book and Ted's "It's not about me comment". I figured Beard would go home with Ted, and he was about to, but glad he found happiness and married his sweetheart. As for Roy, once they had the "Diamond Dogs" meeting where they talked about "owning" himself, I knew that Roy was going to be the manager, and not Nate.
I don't say this about very many shows, but this one, if there's no sequel or spin off, I'm going to really miss. It's not only Ted, but all the characters were interesting in their own way. I will continue to watch the Christmas episode, as one of my new holiday traditions as I did last year. Farewell Ted!
