Is it just me or after each software update the experience in the guide, apps and other functions getting slower and hanging up? Done a clear everything and started over still has issues...

It's not just you. Over the past week I've noticed everything taking a lot longer than normal. Slow show starts, slow deletes and very slow prime and netflix loading. Tonight the unit just up and rebooted itself twice.

The first Roamio was released in 2013. How old is your hard drive?

I bought the Roamio Plus in January 2015 and replaced the HD about 2 years ago with one I bought from Weaknees. The last few nights it hasn't rebooted but it's still pretty slow. If it wasn't for the automatic commercial skip I'd go back to TE3 in a heartbeat.

I have a Premiere 4tuner and the Roamioi Plus. I find myself using the Premiere more and more. Especially nowadays when there is much less to record than an ordinary tv season. And yes the Roamio is slowing down a bit.
