Syfy channel records wrong program

I'm trying to record Ghost hunters on syfy channel. If I set it up manually or via season pass it recently started recording the wrong show or the guide is wrong or syfy is playing the wrong show. I've rebooted, udated the programming and deleted the channel and added it back..to no avail. Anything I can check?

Check Tribune Media's listings (which should match TiVo's) to verify, but your station probably just didn't follow its published schedule. Some of my OTA stations do that occasionally.

I've noticed when looking at syfy in the guide that it show particular shows on the right, but when I arrow down the list, it re-writes itself to show other shows, so apparently it loads old data first and then updates it (and of course the movie I wanted to record in the wee small hours turns into infomercials).

If it's doing that with data that syfy passed on to Tribune in time to pass it on to TiVo, it's probably making other lineup changes and not getting the info out in time for it to make it up the chain to your TiVo.
