I have a new TIVO series 2 that was hooked up to a cablevision box but upgraded to an LCD HD flatscreen and now want to move TIVO to a different TV upstairs that does NOT have a cablebox but does have basic cable. What do I have to do to reprogram TIVO to non-box cable?

Go to the "Messages & Settings" menu, select "Restart or Reset System" then do "Repeat Guided Setup"
Tell it your cable company and that you do not have a box.
