Seems like Adam overplayed his hand and pissed off his allies. Even Denise, the person who he is probably most closely aligned with, left him out of the vote. He must have felt like a fool at tribal. It will be interesting to see if he can recover.

On a side note, I can't believe their tribe has lost so many times and yet both Rob and Parvati are still in the game.

I'm super bummed to see Ethan get voted out. He was probably the person I was most rooting for to win.

I'm surprised by how little screen time Parvati has been getting. That's my main gripe with EoE. We don't get to see as many conversations happening at camp because they have to use those valuable minutes on EoE. The edit makes it seem like Parvati is barely strategizing and working her social game, but obviously that isn't the case.

That was an exciting episode. Loved how close the challenge was. Just 1 piece away from winning it.

Twinnies did a great job figuring out the shell spacing equaled the combination. And great move to alter the other one just in case someone else thought of it.

While I love the part about sneaking into the other's camp (and I thought it was hilarious when she and Tony were trying to blacken out her face), I think the risk is more in their minds than anything. With all the camera crew walking around all night I'd think they are all used to the sounds of people moving around. So Sarah probably could have just walked in, searched and walked out and never be noticed. But it is still fun to see her slinking along.

To that point, I am sure it would not be allowed and even if so probably would be cut forf too much breaking the 4th wall, but I would love to have seen her ask a production person to hold their camera and just walk right in with it to the torches.

Loved that classic Survivor look of "WTF?" on Adam's face at tribal. Rob just looked disgusted, good to see him knocked down a peg or two.

Parvati maybe, Rob, I'm not so sure. He's one charming SOB and people just can't seem to vote him out. The fact that both teams didn't understand they had to eject Rob and Sandra at the first vote tells me both have a good chance of going the whole way.

They may not win, but I think they have a better chance than everyone else. Plus, they have a very commanding presence in their tribes. If I'm trying to survive in the game I don't want them running the tribe. I want some control over my own destiny.

I think the idea Adam had to tell Rob what was happening in order to soften the blow had some merit, but he did it WAAAAAAY too early. He should have done it two minutes before they left for TC, leaving Rob no time to do anything about it.

In a "normal" season of survivor, I bet it would have. In a winners season, they (the 4) correctly realized that they could deal with Adam later and to still break up the old-school-3.

Despite EoE, I'm really enjoying this season. You can see that almost everyone is playing. You can even see how styles have changed (old school alliance throughout vs. new school alliance as needed). I love watching each of these players think things through, realize that this isn't a bunch of newbies and have to rethink things. You can also realize in many respects why these people won and others, who people always thought played a "great" game lost. This is going to be fun down to the end.

I think this is where Adam really messed up. His strategy of playing both sides might have worked on newbies, but Rob was the absolute last person he should have attempted it on.

Natalie is playing great on egde. You would have to think she's the front runner at this point to get back in the game. Not only is she amassing a small fortune in fire tokens, but she's also a challenge beast.

I agree that the risk of her getting caught is much lower than they try to make it seem. I prefer it when the player has to grab an idol hidden at camp or in the middle of a challenge.

Denise is really sitting pretty right now. She not only has a full idol, but she also has two fire tokens. I was a bit surprised that Adam gave his half of the idol back to her. Not only was it a questionable move, but I didn't even realize it was allowed.
