The Immunity Challenge reminded me of 300:

"This is madness!"
"THIS IS CHINA!!"

Pretty average episode overall, although, it was nice to see Dave go!

One thing that's annoying me to no end this year is, the stop animation they do in challenges. My goodness, enough of that garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Mullet Lunch Lady (Linda?) might get pretty far. She's flying under the radar right now. She's pulling her weight, and she's not being noticed.

Speaking of under-the-radar, when they showed Erik speaking I think that was the first time I ever even noticed that guy.

Agreed, it's very distracting. For a reality show, I just always expect live footage and no "fancy camcorder" special effects. Quick cut shots are okay, but the stop-action is distracting.

This is another one of those seasons where we're how many weeks in (can't remember), and still don't remember anyone's name... Well, except maybe Dave and Sherea...

Sherea needed to go. It will be interesting to see how Sherea's energy-conserving strategy goes over once everyone else is picking up Dave's weight.

I was glad to see Dave go, now maybe the rest of the tribe can step up. Or maybe they'll go down in flames. Either way it'll be interesting to watch.

Oh, and somebody please get Courtney a sammich! Is she the skinniest survivor ever? Definitely in the top 3.

They're going down in flames.

They violated the #1 rule of survivor. When the tribes are separate you vote out the weak, when they join, vote out the strong.

They're down 2 people already, without Dave they don't have the power to make up that difference before the join so basically they killed themselves. Good for them.

how about the other tribe?

let's kidnap one of their strongest males so we can feed him well just before the next immunity challenge!

again, stupid strategy that didn't hurt them...even worked to their advantage!

my only hope is that they knew something about Dave and were hoping isolating him would get him voted off...but we've not seen anything to indicate that...so I'll just assume they're stupid...

My guess is they were assuming without Dave the rest of the tribe would not get any food or water and would be weak for the challange. Still think I would have chosen to kidnap someone else.

People who need to get voted out next: Sherea and Courtney. Both are fairly useless.

When seeing it during the challenge, it reminded me of some anime.....

And regarding editing.......there was no way those fireworks that went up were shot from right where the fireballs dropped into. They were covered anyway. Creative editing made you think they might have but I doubt it.

i hate the 'tells' on the show. From day one i hated right before someone is voted off they cue up that music and 100% of the time, someone is sent home because of that vote. there is NO suspense. I hate it

now with the camerawork, you can tell something 'good' will happen when they do that (like bottles falling off the stands).

and jeff just looks stupid dropping one hand and raising the other to start things off.

anywho: To the person the other weak that thinks court is hot, i tried to look at her in hotness this week..to see how she would be...then they showed a side shot with her pelvic bones? sticking out very prominently and that just turned me off. Sorry, that can never be hot to me.

2 pts for a new challenge. But shouldn't they have protected legs too? And the chopstick thing was great. I dont think i could move it 1inch.

Man, getting kidnapped by the other tribe almost guarantees that you are the next to go. Although I was kinda happy to see Dave go. He was getting annoying.

I had to rewind and pause and look at that scene again. It was a real Ewww moment. Definitely un-hot.

I thought it was silly for them to sit out Jean-Robert for the immunity challenge. He is definitely the tallest guy and probably has the biggest wingspan on the tribe. Wouldn't that help to deflect the meteors?

contrary to ealier posts, I would have picked Dave for sure to be kidnapped - he was their leader and by doing that I thought ahead of time it would increase his chances of getting voted out.

Dave was the right choice to vote out - in no way, shape or form was he a strong player (challanges) - Sherea wasn't much better but not as annoying.

Where did Erik come from, as Roadblock pointed out, I didn't even remember him. I guess he didn't fly under the radar for everyone
