How stupid can Vince be? The idol is only good for two weeks and everyone knows he might have one. Knowing this the odds have to be off the charts higher that this was the week to play it.So, Vince goes home with an idol in his pocket! Maybe Sandra and Rob should have coached him to play that idol!
Also, it sucks to see Tom's name thrown around. He seems like a good dude.
I agree... The way they implemented this, there is an immediate target on your back when you return from the island of the idols... I like the idea, but I think they need to fine tune this...They have to change the rules or anyone going to boot camp who doesn't earn an idol is a dead player. And the ones who do have to play it.
Make it that whoever goes to the island is immune at the next tribal.I agree... The way they implemented this, there is an immediate target on your back when you return from the island of the idols... I like the idea, but I think they need to fine tune this...
Absolutely. Not playing the idol, especially after Karishma started whispering, was just plain idiotic. If I was him, I would have planned on playing it no matter what. The idol was only good for two tribals, and you know that people will assume you have it and potentially try to flush it out. Vince should have stood up and said, "I have no idea if I need this tonight, but I can't blame the tribe if they decided to throw some votes my way just in case I had it. This way, I'm for sure safe tonight, and I'm no longer seen as a threat going forward because of the idol."As soon as Karishma started whispering, Vince should've known to play the idol. Anytime something happens during tribal that you aren't part of, it should be a huge red flag.
Yeah, it was hard to watch. I really felt bad for her. Game or no game, show some compassion for a person in pain.Speaking of Karishma, how callous is her tribe to just sit there a few feet away while she was obviously in pain? That is just sickening. At least ask if she is ok.
Yeah, I too felt like they failed to show us an important and interesting conversation between Vince and Elizabeth. There is no way he didn't talk to her about it once he returned.Still loving this season, but the editing on last night's episode left me wanting more. Did Vince talk to Elisabeth about this experience that only they shared? Did she play him by saying she wouldn't reveal the secret to her alliance but then did?
I wouldn't want to target someone just for going since I could be the next one chosen to go at random, but I haven't seen anyone concerned about that.I agree... They sure were. How did Dean escape the criticism when he was also working on it?Boy, they were hard on Karishma re the puzzle, but hey, if you volunteer you better have the goods and she seemed utterly befuddled.
It was weird, any way you look at it. Her reaction was weird, the tribe's reaction was weird. I feel like the editing left something out here...Speaking of Karishma, how callous is her tribe to just sit there a few feet away while she was obviously in pain? That is just sickening. That was really piss-poor editing and story telling. This season has some poor elements:I wonder why they didn't show Vince coming back from Idol Island? I wanted to hear what he said happened to him out there.
