I was embarrassed for Adam. He came off like a jerk during tribal and then really looked like a boob with that whole idol fiasco.

Sarah, what were you thinking, girl? Don't put yourself out there like that!

What's with the songs this season? What is this, Grey's Anatomy?

With a game full of strong players, I guess we should expect a lot of chaos. There's nobody left to follow if everyone is a leader.

The weird thing is there is no one "group" controlling things. It really is like a river (ie fluid) like described before. This seems to have helped Tyson for now as his name is not coming up. At some point, a group probably will have to take control.

How do the people on Edge know how many fire token each player has? Also, what if the person rejects your offer? If Michelle didn't buy the flip-a-coin, could Parvati have tried to sell it to someone else?

Wondering if they have shared info about who they have left their tokens with.

I don't think Parv could have tried to sell it to someone else. That's what makes it tough ... you really need to pick someone who will accept it.

BTW, I thought it was too big an asking price for Michelle to accept it. 4 tokens for something that is not even guaranteed is too much imo. But, hopefully it works out for her.

I agree. I'm surprised Michelle took the deal.

I really like that the producers are trying hard to mix it up this season and introduce new things like the "flip-a-coin" immunity. So far, I think the fire tokens have been a nice addition to the season.

A couple of interesting bits of info in the Q&A. Would be considered spoilerish, so don't read if you don't want to know.

Here are the nuggets, also spoilerized:

Probst talking about the HII that Natalie and Rob previously bought:
"They still have another "Get Back In The Game Challenge," and if they get back in the game, their idol still works."

Probst saying that they likely would never hide an advantage at TC for fear of players destroying the set:
"To be very clear, we have never hidden an idol or any advantage at Tribal because we don't want players destroying the set. I don't see that changing. "

That was a pretty crazy Tribal. And yes, Adam did look a bit stressed and flighty. Exposed him very much as the guy who knew nothing. Not even what an idol would be. I can't imagine how Jeff was holding back his laughter when Adam was trying to pull the piece out of the table and then came back to try a second time. lol

It was pretty funny when Jeff responded in a way that made it seem like it was plausible.

I don't blame Adam for trying. What did he have to lose? If it is an idol, he's near genius and potentially saves himself from going home. If it isn't, he looks a little dumb.

Jeff seemed to like the move, as noted by his response to Adam of "Always" when Adam said "it's worth a shot." How much you wanna bet they decide hiding an idol at tribal is a good idea in a future season?

My biggest problem was his pronouncing the "s" in the end of fleur-de-lis. :D

Totally disagree. The idol attempt was excellent. He had an idea, he knew he was on the block, he gave it a try. Sure, it's an out-there idea, but why not?! He's playing hard like everyone else out there. How horrible would it be if he was too embarrassed to give it a try and it ended up being real?

They likely have not much else to do but talk amongst themselves to and figure out who has what. Wendell is freshly arrived and can give lots of info. Also now that the merge has happened newly voted out people have the info on everyone.

They made pretty clear earlier in the season that if the sale was rejected then that's it: the Edge people get nothing and there's no second chance.

I would be surprised if the advantage instructions to Edge didn't come with a list of how many tokens each player still in the game has. The producers want the advantages in play, so wouldn't want the Edge players to ask someone for more tokens than they have.

If I were a betting man, I'll bet either Tyson or whoever comes back from EoE wins this game. First of all, not only are those on EoE able to schmooze the jury, but they are also collecting fire tokens that they can use for some advantage when they get back in late in the game which almost guarantees, if they are smart about it, they make the finals. Meanwhile as you can see, the remainder of the players in the regular game can't seem to form a cohesive alliance, they are all playing it week by week, which is fairly smart in some respects, but when it comes down to it, at the end of the game, with no real alliance, it's going to hurt them against the returning player if they can't get on the same page.

I love watching all of these winners play, it's much different than a normal game because most of them have an idea what it takes to get far in the game and they are playing hard. But it's going to be ruined because of EoE and all the "popular" players coming back and stealing the game at the end without having to play challenges, make deals and all the things that make it harder to win the game

That was masterful. Normally I hate how Probst overdramatizes things. This time though, it was done perfectly. He kept feeding Adam rope and Adam kept wrapping it around his own neck. It was so fun to watch.
