Survivor - 3/30/11

I must not watch the way some of you do. I didn't know who was gonna go between Sarita and David.

I'm glad that they did decide to favor strength over loyalty this time.

I wish I could see the "Next Week on Survivor" from last week. I thought they'd said that there was an unbelievable moment or something. I don't remember anything very surprising or unbelievable happening in this episode.

I figured they would do the wrong thing again and keep Sarita...

I just rewatched the preview and there wasn't anything indicating something unbelievable. Maybe the quick shot of Jeff on Redemption Island saying "wow" at the very end of the preview gave you that impression.

I disagree on this. David is a high risk to flip. Jeff also asked the important question, unity or strength and it seems like Ralph wants strength but all the others were going unity but then they all voted the other way.

With that said though there is the Redemption Island twist and that person will return. Send David and if he wins and returns later then that is a guaranteed flip where as of now he is Zapatara with a higher likelyhood to flip. Matt is on a run though and would win against David especially if it was a physical duel. If it was a puzzle though than David would win however we did just see a pure memory/puzzle challenge so I think it will be somewhat physical this time around. I would have personally gone with David at this tribal.

Poor Stephanie... she really blew it on that challenge. She knew there was a match but made the fatal mistake of turning over the one she was 100% sure of before turning over the one she wasn't sure about.

And where'd she get that outfit for the challenge? I don't recall seeing that all season.

The rest of the episode... ho-hum. Phillip is crazy. Girls are lazy. Rob is cagey. Purple tribe sucks.

But voting out Sarita could now make her likely to flip if she were to win a Redemption Island then come back. Her attitude could now be, "you decided to flip on me, so I might as well flip on you."

Rob's alliance has to be some of the worse Survivor players in history. Do they know they are there to win a million dollars? Seems like they think it is a vacation. Phillip is the only one smart enough to realize they need to get Rob out. Stephenie continued to show her stupidity. Watch out Rob, they are going to try to vote you out. Well, duh!

If Rob makes it to the merge there will be a target on his back a mile wide. It'll be a miracle if he makes it to the end. I don't think his tribe is blowing it too badly by not scheming against him now.

And once again Grant almost single handily wins the challenge for his tribe. He's going to be a threat to run the table winning individual immunities if they let him get too far in.

It's funny watching Ralph deflate week by week. Not crowing now, eh?

I did like Ralph's bit after that about wanting the strong ones because the others will just talk when they should be working (I can't remember the exact quote). I think he got some second looks at that.

Yeah I thought about that, but the chances of her coming back are slim to none I think (watch me be wrong now). I see David scheming still and leaving the four (or however many are left by then) and forming his own alliance, possibly with Rob and Matt (assuming he returns from Redemption). He must know out of the 5 left he is the bottom of that totem.

I think this was a valid reason actually. Slight misunderstanding of the question presented, but valid reasoning behind his answer.

Anyone else know rooting for Matt to not only come back from Redemption but come back and make it to the finals?
