while watching NFLST HD several times after they would post the "your are watching NFLST..." my screen would go blank, only after changing the channel and then changing back would the picture come back on, I called DTV tech support and they said there were no broadcast issues, he asked if i was using hdmi on my hr20 which I am and asked what my tv brand was, i told him sony and he stated there is a known issue with the hr20's and sony tv's and that I should use a component cable, I thought component was only capable of 720p but the tech support rep stated not, it can do 1080i. Anyone else experience this? thanks

Actually no. Problem with the feeds as people with any kind of HD receiver saw audio dropouts on some channels. Imagine that.

Yes, apparently the feeds were a problem. BUT... the feeds, and software bugs with some of the sunday ticket features... were causing the HR20's to reboot!

Often...*****

Ok... I'm editing the above because my friend has clarified something. When we were at his house watching the game, teh box would lock up and then reboot. Unknown to me until now is that the rebooting was his doing. Apparently, he has setup his HR20 on a switch via remote. It locks up often enough that he felt this was necessary.

Note.. that for him locking up often enough would be anyting from 1-5 times every 2 or so months.

So... no the HR20's were not rebooting this weekend. Just locking up forcing a hard reboot. My apologies to the HR20 owners.
