I don't know how USA made a great law show, but they sure did.

I knew Mike was going to lose to that ******. In the real world Mike would destroy that guy. I thought when he was called up to the head of the company after the mock she would have congratulated him, but she didn't and Harvey didn't either.

I think Mike will end up being a good thing for Harvey. Which is weird since Mike used to be a mess, but is finally living the way he always wanted. He is finally reaching that potential. I just like the dynamic the creators have made.

I have to say that I hate lawyer shows but this show has won me over. The lawyers are all greedy, slimy and sleazy but I've grown to like them, other than the a-hole associate Mike hate the mock trial with.

Mike could be rolling in booty if he plays his cards right but he'll probably do the right thing and pick either Rachel or Whatshername.

A good drinking game would be to do a shot every time the words "Harvard Law" is mentioned.
Best show on TV right now IMHO. And I don't like lawyer shows either, but this has such great lead characters!
Harvey's Elvis-like pompadour makes me laugh.
I like this show quite a lot, though I was disappointed with Mike at the end too. I'd like to see some killer instinct in him rather than just the smarmy genius. Any girl who gets her feelings hurt over an acting gig at a fake trial isn't worth his time.

I was thinking the same thing. Plus, the way her interest in Mike perked up as soon as she saw the blonde competition.

She wasn't hurt over the acting. He commented about going after the woman rather than the facts. His questions and accusations were aimed at her personal insecurities, not her trial character's. That's why she was getting upset, he wasn't grilling the character he was grilling her.

I was disappointed the big boss ( Torres ) didn't see that he had found the way to unnerve her and at least acknowledge that. I was Ok with him not hurting her. and their relationship ( working and personal ) over a mock trial. There's no reason to think that because he didn't go for the kill there means he wouldn't in a real trial, especially since the "damage" to the witness would have been real, even of the trial wasn't.
Harvey seems to handle a different type of case each week. Are lawyers usually that generalized or do they more than likely specialize in a particular area?
This has become my favorite USA Network show, now beating out Royal Pains. I'm also not normally a fan of lawyer shows. To me, this is actually more of a buddy movie.

It looked like she wrote something down when he started down that road, but then was disappointed when he didn't see it through.
I thought Rachel's actions at the end were pretty slimy.

Mike asks her out and she shoots him down. Then she sees that some other woman is interested and so she hints to him that she might be open to something.
Yeah the moral question was a good one. I tend to think I would have done the same thing.

Knowing the context in which I was in, I would not choose to hurt someone I care about just to win. I understand Harvey and the rests opinion on that, and you need that killer instinct to excel... but it was very well played and I think a lot of people would have a hard time doing it as well.

And it was not a matter of her getting her feelings hurt over an acting gig at a trial. He was cutting to her core and her real life insecurities about being inferior because she can not pass the LSATs and get into Law School. His attack on her was totally personal.
That is why he backed off. He knew things about her that could get to her.

On the other hand how do we not know he wasn't just trying to cover his own backside as she knows about him taking tests for other people, so if he pisses her off too much he would be in big trouble.

I say it in every thread about the show, but was definitely the surprise new show of the summer for me. I had extremely low hopes for the show.
