We got a samsung sir-s4080r last June and it has 6.2-01-2-381 software running on it but for some reason suggestions won't record. One time in the past they recorded for a while but now no matter what we do we can't get it to record any. It has 80 hours and only 2 pages of shows recorded. We turned suggestions off then back on again. Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Try resetting your thumbs rating. If you use thumbs down a lot, it can convince your TiVo tat you don't like anything. Going forward, try to provide mostly positive reinforcement (thumbs up) for the things that you like and limit your use of thumbs down to few things.

I think you find it by going TiVo>>>Messages and Setup>>>Reset/Restart or something along those lines.
