Hello
My Tivo last night said shuting down system over heating. unplug and power back up to fix.
All it does when i plug it back in is say Welcome Powering Up.

You should get an electronic Tech to look at it, overheating is not good for electronics.

Check
- the air vents in the back and under the TiVo.
- The fan is blowing air and is not blocked.
- Leave it unppluged for 15 minutes or longer to cool.
