Stuck at preparing to load
It's been preparing for about 2 hours.
The 'getting info' portion was short. It didn't seem long enough for 14.8 but I don't know if I'm getting the update or not.
When should I do a hard restart?

well, it took 4 hours to load data. I didn't get the service update but did have a 1 channel lineup change.
