I was recording a show last night around 2 am off of analog cable.

just over 5 minutes into playing back the video it stops at a single frame. Everything was working fine then all the sudden it was as if I paused it. The remaining 25 minutes of the recording is just that single still frame and no audio?

Is this what Tivo does if Analog cable went out, or could it of been a glitch with the broadcast network? I doubt Tivo ran into any bugs as it was working 100% this morning when I got up.

I'm going to guess this maybe was the network or some issue other then cable going out, as I'm pretty sure tivo just skips over to when a signal is restored rather then holding a frame.

Also I noticed when looking at that still frame long enough in play mode, the analog lines distortions moved slightly back and forth like they do on any analog channel playing, in addition I could see the picture shifting slightly near edges as compression changed of the recorded video.

Just find this very strange, I have never seen a network just pause it self before on a signal frame and remain there for at least 25 minutes if not longer.
