I have a problem and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue.
Tonight, I had 2 shows set to record via Season Pass, Bionic Woman and Private Practice to start at 9:00.
Channel was set to same station as Bionic Woman before the recordings started (NBC), Deal or no Deal.
Came back to TV at 9:15 to watch Bionic Woman and noticed that I had a blank screen and the time bar at bottom was at 0:00 (nothing recorded). I pressed Live TV button and jumped over to other channel being record ABC, worked fine. Pressed Live TV button again to return to NBC and again got a blank screen with no show.
I then stopped recording Bionic Woman and changed to a different channel (I think if was ESPN) and returned to NBC and channel worked! Pressed Rec button to start recording Bionic again (lost the first 20 minutes).
This same problem occurred last Monday night trying to record two shows at same time.
I went to Cable setup screen to test channels on each card and it worked. Well, occasionally I would get a blank screen and had to change channel and back to 'kickstart' the channel back on.
Very strange ..... This issue seems to be intermittent...
I called Tivo, and at this point it is difficult to say whether the issue is in the cablecards, Comcast service or the Tivo Series 3 box.
Comcast is coming out tomorrow to install 2 new cable cards to see if the problem goes away.
I am running Tivo version 8.3.xxx, Comcast cable cards.
Has anyone else had this similar issue...
