I'm out of town this weekend, but I might watch one of these tonight on my phone.

Most of this episode seemed like a weak way to set-up Wesley as a genius and get him on the bridge and more involved in the show. It was pretty forgettable overall.
I liked this episode. It seems weird that they traveled so far and were able to get home fast while Voyager took years but then there would not have been a series
This was one of my early favorite episodes when I first watched it. I still liked it.
Just saw a dude in a skirt! Is that the last time we see that?
The premise was cool and the execution was decent...except for the Wesley stuff. Of course, there is some payoff on the Wesley stuff much later in the series.

I think this is my favorite episode so far.
I remember thinking that this episode was lame when I first saw it. I've seen some positive comments about it. Overall, though, I think it still kinda sucked. The whole idea of the Traveler bugs me. I'm OK with him perhaps having the ability to phase in and out of various realities. But when he's working on a console in engineering, it's about hard physics. You can't type touchy feely mumbo jumbo into a console.

As for some non real time comments...

Our current chief engineer is kindof a tubby sort, isn't he?
Wesley still seems to be dressing for an Arctic expedition.
While I'm glad to see Engineering starting to take the shape we are most familiar with, the number of chairs that seem to come and go annoy me.
So Wesley has shared a grand total of about 30 seconds of conversation with the Traveler, and he's willing to call him his "friend"? Sounds like how my 4 year old latches onto people when we go play at the mall play area.
What was up with the dude and the fire? Once he "put it out", he seemed to be hitting on Picard.
Picard's little speech to the crew was cringe worthy.
Man skirt!

I will say this episode does have one of my favorite lines of the series, though. After Wesley is made Acting Ensign (is that even a legitimate rank?), and Riker asks if they should contact Dr. Crusher, Picard tells him "Why, is someone ill?" It was a nice little bit of respect for Mr. Crusher.

Just finished this one last night. It was interesting seeing Stanely Kamel in an earlier role. In my head he'll always be the doctor from Monk. I'm really looking forward to seeing other actors as they make cameo roles on TNG.

I remember the Travelers from when I watched TNG the first time. Do they make more apperences, or is this it?

It was always the one Traveler, and yes, he appeared twice again late in the series.

Thanks, I thought so. I remember seeing an episode with the Traveler, but I didn't remember it being this one. That explains it.

Thank you! I knew I recognized him but could not remember from where. Monk is it!

I sat there trying to figure out the same thing. The Monk connection didn't even occur to me.
