Everytime i reboot the tuning adapter it lasts only 4 hours then it starts blinking says searching for signal. Then spectrum sends the signal its comes back up but only lasts for 4 hours?

Every time there has been a signal issue it was related to rodents chewing the cable on the utility pole.

Not understanding what you are saying. A TA doesn't "say" anything. Did you have to call Spectrum to refresh the TA? You seem to be leaving out information that would be useful in helping you..

Tuning Adapters require a very specific bootup sequence to work correctly, and if not done properly, it will result in "unstable" tuning adapter operation.

So maybe try these steps to see if it fixes the issue:

1) Power off the TA
2) Disconnect the USB cable from the TA
3) Power on the tuning adapter
4) Wait until the green LED turns solid on or solid off (this could take 5+ mins, so be patient while the green LED is blinking).
5) If off, then press the front button to turn it solid on (if the LED is already solid on, then press the front button to turn it off, then again to turn it back solid on.
6) Now connect the usb cable to the TA
7) The TiVo should display a message that it sees the TA
8) Enjoy! (Note: it may take up to 10-15 minutes for you to be able to receive all your subscribed channels)

Have you tried removing the tuning adapter to see if you actually need it?
