Hello, I have a image for the SVR-2000 that's past Guided Setup. After restoring it the DVR will not respond to any button presses. And before you ask, my remote is working since restoring an image on Guided Setup will make the remote work again. Does anyone know what could be the problem?

And by the way, before you say about the Series 1 EoL, I know that already. I just want to use it as a digital VCR

Are you sure it's a Sony image since the Sony used different remote codes from the other TiVo S1 models?

Yes, since the Phillips remote does not work either and the startup intro says "Sony" before it cuts to the tivo man thing

Looks like I got it working, I just had to change the remote code
