Some shows off by an hour in menus - Why?

I've noticed something strange with my Premier this week. Sunday it was scheduled to record a one-hour show that it said was on at 7:00PM. I turned on the TV at around 8:15, and saw that it was recording that show. Confused, I went into the Now Playing list, and it said that the show ran from 7-8 and was still recording. Then I went to the guide, and it said that the show was on from 8-9.

Apparently some shows that show up correctly in the guide are (incorrectly) showing up as an hour earlier in all of the Tivo menus (NPL, Upcoming episodes, To Do List, etc.)

See the attached image for another example. Tonight in the guide, it listed a show airing at 1AM. However, in the Tivo menu, it (incorrectly) said that it was airing at 0:00AM or 12:00AM, depending on where you look.

Has anybody else seen this issue?

I've noticed the same thing but haven't had time to check it out to see if all shows are being displayed this way. Everything seems to be recording correctly, just displayed as if they had been recorded an hour early.

I've noticed it on "The daily show" and "The Colbert Report"
TiVos work off of UTC internally, but have to convert it to local time for us humans. The time display in some sections of the interface probably isn't displaying the DST-based times correctly.
It's a problem a few people have reported; it's happening for me too.

Here's another thread about it: http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/showthread.php?t=470874
Yep, same problem here.

The recordings happen at the correct time, but if I look at the description after it's recorded, it says the recording started an hour earlier.

It will fix itself in the fall when DST goes away. Before they offer a fix...
It also has to do with time zones. Shows play at different time in different time zones. We have that problem in Alaska all the time. It is not unusual to be four hours off, especially with lineup changes by the cable companies..
Having the exact same problem-- Tivo time is right. Channel bar time is right. Shows are listed exactly ONE HOUR earlier than actual airing. All is recording correctly, but would like it to get corrected.

Please Tivo, fix this one. It should be EASY.
Have you checked to see if it's the same issue on the zap2it.com listings? TiVo gets their listings from them, and if they're off, there's nothing TiVo can do.

This is a known problem in the HD menus. Apparently, they are not taking DST into account.

Exactly!

That's not really any kind of fix though. What is is a condition under which the problem is not manifested.
