I am new to the Tivo world... Have a S3 and a Premiere. My premiere is only running software verision 14.1.

How can I force a software update? Thank you and I enjoy learning each day what this machine can do from your posts...

You can't. You have to wait for the update to be pushed to your machine. It happens for everyone over a 3 or 4 week time frame. You should have yours shortly.

Go into Settings, System Information and if it says, "Pending Restart" next to Software Update, reset your Tivo and it will install the latest update.

At 14.1 yes there should be some update. Try forcing several calls in a row..
