Recently bought 80hr HughesTivo unit on ebay as my old one quit. Works fine but Onlys records one at a time. My other did 2 at the same time. The software in this one is 6.2 (my other is 6.3) so I am sure it is a software issure. However, direct tv tells me there is nothing they can do and to call tivo and tivo tells me it must come from Directv. Has anyone had this problems and do you have any suggestions?

It would have nothing to do with 6.2 versus 6.3.

In all likelihood, either you do not have it setup correctly (through the setup procedure) or it has a bad tuner.

Yep - it's a setup or faulty tuner issue.

You bought a model R10, which has 6.2. It's identical to 6.3, so your problem is not with the version, but something else.

Thanks, you were correct. Just had to run through the satellite setup again and it got both tuners..Lost the local stations however, got them back and all is well...
