Hello.

Is there a special software that you are suppose to use to condition the hard drive for a TIVO if its larger than like 3TB?

If so, can anyone let me know the name of the software or know if its Windows based software or if it required linux ?

Thanks.

I did a google search on how to upgrade TIVO BOLT to 14TB and the results that come up are my own post on here asking about how to do it.

I did a search on this forum and all the post about 14TB hard drive show up as post that I created except one guy said that the BOLT has 14TB lockout or something like that.

Does anyone know is the 14TB drives are blocked from working on the TIVO software?

Thanks.

Because they CAN!

My wife would like to binge watch all "Big Bang Theory", "Criminal Minds" and "Law & Order SVU"
episodes, but the real killer is all of the "Dr. Phil" and "Oprah" episodes.
Sounds more like "BINGE SAVING." Not a lot of watching TV going on if you need 1300 hours of DVR space. Or having a large hard drive is due to other short comings... ;) Sorry... couldn't help myself....

Sorry for the "Dr. Phil" and "Oprah" episodes..... What! No Jerry Springer?
