Good start for S2
I guess there have been no births since the train departed (not sure why?), but all it took was to say you’re pregnant to get an upgrade to First Class ;)

Not sure why decoupling would have been a problem. How did snowpiercer loose control if decoupled from Alice?

Wouldn't there be a big hole at the back of snowpiercer that would allow the weather in?

I don't remember what happened to Snowpiercer's engine. The 2nd train came along and attached on back. But it seems like if #2 disconnects, SP is dead in the water. What happened to their engine?

I think the events of the end of last season drained the batteries to the point where it was no longer capable of self starting. There was some aspect of "must keep running to produce power" design to the engine, it generated less power the slower it went, had batteries to buffer the problem, but there was still a potential point of no return. (But it's not entirely clear)

Actually, that was made very clear last season. And yes, that's exactly right.

(What's not clear, but I think implied, is that the addition of all the extra passengers...the "tailies"...made the train's "energy budget" much tighter than it was designed to be.)

I assume since Big Alice has miracle skin graft technology Josie will be getting her face back eventually...

I also assume Mr Wilford will be losing a lot of his fans as they actually get to know him (and he's too egotistical to hide his true nature for long).

With the doctors already on the train I am curious what interesting characters might be at the station Melanie is getting ready to activate.

But this is art. Unlike reality, it has to make sense. ;)
Will Ruthie see the light? She sure is excited about Mr. Wilford.. Her running through the train with the communique and how she revered it was funny..

The question is: What happened to Miles? He was working as an engineer in the season one finale, and now he seems to have been transported to Mandyville. Given his connection to both Layton and Josie, he needs to appear or at least be mentioned.
