I hope this is considered on topic for this thread, but I just want to HIGHLY recommend the docuseries, "SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night Live" on Peacock. It's super interesting and often funny....much better than the average episode of SNL itself usually is!

The first episode is all about auditioning for SNL, with audition clips from many famous current and former cast regulars. The second episode was all about the making of the "More Cowbells" sketch....I was dubious about that one, since I'm not a huge fan of that sketch (not sure I even saw the whole thing, since that originally aired during the hiatus I took from watching SNL), but I ended up enjoying it very much. It was interesting and clever and had commentary from lots of people you would never expect to bother with it. The third episode is about how the show is written and what it's like to be a writer on the show....loved that episode! I haven't seen the fourth episode yet, but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

If you like process stories (as I do) and you have access to Peacock, DEFINITELY check this out!

Thanks for the review. I still have the email from Peacock in my inbox with the name of this show in the title, so I don't forget to watch. Need to get to it and look forward to it more, now. :)

Start a petition advocating that. You may be able to get a few other people to sign it. Just think, with 4 or 5 signatures, you could send it to NBC.
I think I would need more. Anyway, she was on NPR's "Wait, Wait".

May 3 - Quinta Brunson (2nd), Benson Boone (1st)

Ana Gasteyer and Kevin Nealon were on the same episode of "Pyramid" last night. They were introduced as SNL veterans, but it has been many years.

I know Kevin from "Man with a Plan" with Joey from "Friends".
Ironic that he had trouble getting "contractor" when he played one on TV.
Ana I first saw on "Suburgatory" and I couldn't stand her.

Bobby Moynihan was on "Pyramid" last night and he suggested he was coming back. Michael Strahan was looking forward to it.

Don't know when they taped the episode.

May 10 - Walton Goggins (1st), Arcade Fire (6th)
May 17 - Scarlet Johansson (7th), Bad Bunny (3rd)
No episode on the 3rd?

That's a relief because the cable guy wasn't going to come until Sunday. But my cable mysteriously came back this morning and hopefully no more problems.

I set the Roamio to record from an antenna but NBC is one of the least dependable networks.
