Vandal Savage! (Almost didn't recognize him without the goatee...)

Kinda sad to see that a second rate actor like Dean Cain has enough talent and charisma to blow Tom Welling off the screen...

After last week's episode, this was a nice breath of fresh air. It was cool to see Dean Cain on screen again and he played an excellent "Vandal Savage" (nice catch, Rob); I hope we get to see more of him. They left it open ended and since he can't die, maybe we will.

So it looks like Kara flew off -- when is she coming back?

I wasn't thinking of Vandal Savage. I was thinking that the Martian Manhunter flew Dr. Cox to Holberg 917-G, and Dr. Cox will start teaching himself advanced robotics.



Actually, he can't because Dr. Cox doesn't buy Holberg 917-C until sometime in the 23rd century. Oh, well.

I thought dean cain sucked massively. His delivery was really off. It's irrelevant whether he's a better actor than tom welling if he still sucks. Rosenbaum chewed him up and spit him out in their scenes together. It was kind of weird to watch...

My antenna went a little haywire last night due to storms so forgive me if this was answered at the very end... but are Jimmy and Chloe the new Lana and Clark (i.e. "I can't do this anymore" and then next episode you see they aren't actually broken up, it's just something she said)...?

The Curtis Knox having the monogrammed "CK" handkerchief was a nice bit of redirection making the audience think "Clark Kent." I'm glad to see they are still trying to tie previous Superman incarnations into this one. They just need to bring John Shea in now to have a face off with one of the Luthors. They should also try to get somebody from the 1988 Superboy series.

I'm tired of Chloe keeping the secret from Jimmy. I'm tired of Spy Lana. I hope this team has an endgame in mind.

Apparently, Clark and Lana are now together, she knows all about his Kryptonian past and Ma Kent is nowhere to be found. I guess I missed some stuff.

+1 I noticed that right away and it took me back to the pilot of "Lois & Clark" when we first see Clark going for the bus and he had "CK" on his briefcase.

I also noticed in this episode that Jimmy calls Clark "CK." That also reminded me of "Lois & Clark" as Jimmy called him that in that show too. As far as I know, Jimmy didn't do that in the comics (?) or the movies so is that another homage to the 90's series?
