About two months ago my Roamio suddenly decided to no
longer accept my premium cable channels (ie: Starz, HBO,
Cinemax, ect...) giving me a "This Channel is not Authorized
(V58)" message. I was planning to drop those channels
anyway so i didnt think much about it. A few weeks later I
lost all my HD Channels (ch700 and up.) Last week I lost all
my extended channels (ch225 and up.) Ive had the cable
company reset my card three times, and ive had them come
out an replace the card three times. The last time we verified
the brand new card worked in my wifes Roamio first.
The cable company says there is nothing they can do because
the machine is "refusing to pair" with the card and the device
is not part of their Tivo Package (it was privately purchased.)
I cannot get a response from Tivo either.
Is there a solution to this issue? I paid for lifetime service on
this machine and I have several shows saved that are not
downloadable or recoverable.
