Slow Loading On Elite

We installed our first Tivo Premiere Elite a couple of weeks ago. Our client is a heavy user,but he is complaining of very long waits between clicking on a recorded show to watch and actually seeing it. There is a green indicator showing an on going process,but it seems to take a couple of minutes for each new show.
He is using Comcast in Minneapolis and has a cable card which seems fine. Any insight in the slow loading of recorded shows on an Elite?
