Yeah, none of my four Thursday shows have skip (Wednesday's did, except I watched X-Files while it was recording)...
Coincidentally (?) there was no new Guide Data Thursday. Maybe something's wrong with their system..?

In my experience if a program doesn't have SM for 12 hours it never gets it. I have seen a repeat of a program get SM. My oldest repeat with SM is NCIS: Los Angeles that was on USA, 7/11/17 at 7am with an OAD of 1/10/2012. It's an isolated example. I do have many others however. There have been posts of a restart working too.

If SM is missing when I want to watch a show I just live without it. After all SM is relatively new; FF x3 still works OK.

I experienced an epic skipmode fail last night, 3/1/18 as well.
Skipmode was missing on:
Arrow
Grey's Anatomy
Gotham
Scandal
How to Get Away with Murder
Superstore
AP Bio (both episodes that aired)
Will & Grace
In fact, the only shows that had Skipmode were Life in Pieces and Top Chef.
Rebooting, unplugging and forced network connections (several times each) were mostly to no avail.

I just checked an X-Files ep1107 and skip mode is there on my Roamio OTA. It wasn't there last night but it is there now. I have seen that happen frequently where it doesn't show up until the next day. Since I usually watch shows at least a day later it doesn't matter to me. I really miss it when it doesn't show up at all. In fact I'm late to the party with using KMTTG. I just recently found out about its auto-skip capability and love it. Only now it sounds like the author has not gotten his license update to keep doing that after April. *sigh*

I'm just now watching MC Jr and noticing the same thing. But - Joe is back...yay!
Furthermore, there have been quite a few shows for me this week that would usually have skip but didn't.
It's not the end of the world for me, but I miss it when I'm used to it with a lot of shows.I'm noticing inconsistencies with it, which makes me hope it's temporary. One example that comes to mind is 'The Late Show'. This week most of them didn't have skip but at least one episode of the week did.

Only 3/1 Thursday is missing for me along with The Tonight Show. I'm torn between blaming the Olympics and March because I just don't like March.
