I can't get rid of TiVo because of the reason that I got it in the first place.
I don't understand why it's not so popular today, but I LOVE TiVo for the WishLists.
They create the ultimate suggestions list of recorded programs, using keywords or your favorite actors' names or whatever. TiVo records programs exactly suitable to your liking and even puts them into individual folders by category (that you create), something that TiVo should have done a long time ago with all recordings.
Since nobody offers anything like WishLists anymore (Dish Network used to have Dish Pass), I find TiVo invaluable for that feature and wouldn't leave it for any replacement.

It doesn't always work. End of story. Reporting when it doesn't work is a waste of time.
