Long ago I had the D* HDTivo (this was true of the SD Tivos from D* as well).

If I wanted to quickly switch tuners, all I had to do is hit the down arrow and it would swap tuners.

Now, I have to hit info, then down, then enter.

Is there a single button to do the same thing on the THD?

TIA

The "Live" button will switch tuners for you.

If memory serves, that question came up when the S3 was released, and the answer (at the time) was no. Somebody might have found a hack since then, though, so google for the standard "hacklist" sites.

slightly related topic: is there an easy way to go to a recorded show when viewing live tv instead of hitting the tivo button, now playing list, the program, then either resume or play?? i love to jump to a recorded show between innings of baseball games.

Live TV to kick to baseball, push left should take you back to the info screen of the recorded show with resume playing highlighted

I have a Logitech Harmony 720. It has a LIST command that you can set on the programable buttons and when pressed, it jumps directly to the list of recorded programs on my TiVO S3.
