I really wish Judge Meadows had told Bernard why she quit being his shadow before he killed her!
I have a feeling we're going to find out what happened 25 years ago. Why Walker holed up, why Meadows quit. Maybe they deciphered the mystery message?

Can someone remind me who the person they are talking about is? I don't remember the name. I think he was the head of IT 140 years ago or a person who would not clean 140 years ago (or both)? they are trying to decipher his code right now...

Mechanical’s easy ability to shut off the power seems to have been forgotten. Dude’s trying to starve you; seems like a good time to respond.
YES! I was thinking the same thing while watching...you JUST shut down the power to show them that you mean business. So why aren't you using your weapon to get food?

And more than a little suspension of disbelief with that dive.
OMG yeah.

And with all that Solo pre-dive talk about decompression sickness, and then she quickly surfaces from what looks like well over 100 feet, and then is totally fine? She'd probably be unconscious or dead halfway up. I think a smarter "Solo dive-tips" monologue would have been just "make sure you're always breathing out when going up or your lungs will explode" and not the confusing DCS stuff that most of the audience wouldn't really get and she didn't suffer from at all.

Have they mentioned before how long they've been in the Silo? Bernard talked about 354 years, so it's quite a few generations. It explains why they are so removed from anything from pre silo days. I loved Solo's description of swimming.

I thought the season was dragging, but this was a better episode. Feels like things are finally moving along.

All we really know is “more than 143 years”, since S1E1 happened in SY140 and 143. We know they reset the calendar then.

She only managed to survive oxygen toxicity, severe nitrogen narcosis, possible poisoning (from that sketchy compressor contaminating the gas), decompression sickness, and overexpansion injuries, arriving at the surface just fine.

Agreed. Good news is that there's only three episodes left, so I can imagine it's going to keep moving at a good pace.

One thing I just can't reconcile - why would anyone want to live?

Solo, especially. He wants Jules to fix the pumps, worried in 5 years he's going to drown. Who gives a flip. You live by yourself in an empty silo. Well, maybe he doesn't now as we saw at the end. But again, where's the will to live?

Same for the members of Silo 18. What meaning do their lives have. Seems like such a miserable existence.

I didn't read the books, but I suspect that Juliette will find a way to take Solo with her back to Silo 18. Assuming he's not dead.

Well you have to remember this is all these people know. It's like living in North Korea. You'd think those people living repressed like that would just want to kill themselves, but that's what they know. It's what their life is about. So Solo, only knows about living the way he's lived until now. And the people in our original silo know nothing else but living like they do. They don't know anything else.
