I just bought a new TiVoHD for use with my Cox digital cable. I was sick of their 2 DVR limit as well as the terrible interface.


Now should I expect cox to start using SDV and my TiVo becoming useless? Should I expect better decoding of the signal than my Motorola DCT6412, which breaks up constantly?

Any links to these threads? Specifically one talking about Omaha's SDV situation. I cannot find any through the search.

The decoding question, I have found threads discussing it but not giving a straight answer. Some say yes. some say no.

Any help would be appreciated.

The issue isn't any different, just because it's in Omaha. The SDV FAQ sticky applies to you as well as anyone else.

I was referring to whether or not the use SDV in Omaha.

And like I've said previously the search doesn't yield any results to my decoding question.
