And to add to that picture Shameless has delayed restart of filming due to the uptick in Covid in SoCal. There are some more clip shows planned for the main cast at the end of the month:
Debbie/Carl/Liam and then Lip I suspect at the end we will have Fiona and Frank clip shows.

From what I read, these Hall of Shame episodes are mostly clip shows with a little bit of new content. How much new content was there, and is it worth seeking out?

New ep last night
Poor Liam, don’t like the guilt they laid on the only good Gallegher.
And poor Frank, not going to end well for him.

Clip Show next week, but it’s “Fiona”, so I’ll watch that one.

I am not liking this season much. It’s just sort of meanders. I know Hollywood has really taken a step back on nudity but it was kind of front and center on this show. Everything seems a bit sanitized now.

I always thought Fiona owned the house. Its like they are saying she gave away most everything when she left.

The ending of the current episode had everyone arguing that they didn't want to sell so I'm not so sure that's going to be the case, but who knows what goes on in the mind of a Gallagher?

The clip shows are obviously just filler because of production delays and shutdowns due to COVID-19. It's still fun to watch them and see how each of the characters has evolved over the course of the show.

After watching it finally looks like they are not meandering anymore but starting to march to the finish line. It looks as they are going to sell the house and everybody will find separate ways.
I really got a kick out of Ian and Mickey trying to find gay friends and the mid credit scene of them singing. It was also a good explanation of Debbie and abandonment issues for her not wanting to move and why she did not have an abortion.

Well, that's all folks.
Series Finale last night.
Last Call: 'Shameless' Showrunner Says Goodbye to the Gallaghers
'Shameless' boss on series finale, Emmy Rossum not returning, and possible revival: 'Never say never'
I did like that there were some unresolved stories (for example, does Lip sell the house? Most likely, but chance he doesn't. Does Debbie leave Chicago? Not likely, but possible)
I liked that it was very likely that the bar will be sold to Carl's cop 'partner' and will become a "cop bar"

It's the old life goes on and imagine it going in the direction you want it to. Deadline did an interview with the showrunner and explained they tried to get Emmy Rossum back and she wanted to but she would have had to quarantine and it became unworkable. They could have worked a skype into the show somehow or at least gave us something about where she is now.

They way they did the ending they did set it up for the ability to do a movie if they wanted.
