I'm at a college campus, and I'm trying to set it up my DVR. My phone line won't allow me to dial the 1-800 number, and my Ethernet port is not working (which is bs since the college advertises them). But, when I put the ethernet cable into my computer from the DVR, I at least can get past the initial network connection screen. Is there any way I can configure either my computer and/or my TiVo to somehow feed off of the wireless internet connection my computer gets or am I pretty screwed?

If you want to do wireless, you will have to get a supported USB to Wireless adapter to plug into the USB port.

You can configure your computer for Internet Connection Sharing. You will need a crossover ethernet cable to connect the TiVo to the computer's ethernet port.
