I know that you can set a recording/One Pass remotely via TiVo online or through the TiVo app (android), by selecting a show from the guide or search.

But I can not seem to find a manual recording option. The show I want to set up to record is not listed in the guide on TiVo online or in the app, and is supposed to premier in within a large block of time that is listed as (To Be Announced) in the guide. I may not return home until after the show first airs. So I thought I could specify a manual date/time recording like you can directly on the TiVo.

Stumped.

But would that work when you are away from home?

Yeah, there's zero ability to set up anything like that, especially remotely, prior to returning home.
