Series 3 and Hr10-250

I read many threads here but thought I would still ask my question. I have had my Hr10-250 since it came out. I tried the Hr20-700 and it does not replace my HR10 primarily because it does not have the Tivo interface.

Questions: Does the Series 3 or HD Tivo have a very similar iinterface to the Series 2/ Hr10 Tivos? I assume the answer is yes, then what is the timing on Cable rolling out HD channels to comtete with the D* HD rollout this year?

the hr10-250, S3 and Tivo HD all share an overall similar interface. They are different features/options but very similar.

I switched to TivoHD from two HR10-250s. Love it, very pleased. Getting the cards provisioned right was a pain, but otherwise it's great.

That depends on your local cable company and the capacity that they have on their cable plant. Your best bet for an answer on this one is to head over to avsforum and read the local HDTV thread for your area. (I went over there to find an exact link for you, but the site is down today for an upgrade this morning - I'll try and post back when it comes up).
