My tivo was stuck on "powering Up" I unplug it for about 2 hours plug it back in and still the same thing. I opened it up and took out the little battery and now nothing but the fan comes on not even the green power light?

Why would you take out the battery?

Your hard drive is probably bad.

You could have dislodged the power and/or front panel ribbon cable.

I thought the "little battery" was where you couldn't easilly get at it

In a Series 1, that would be the case. In a Series 2, the battery is easier to access.
