Odd problem I'm having with my old single tuner series 2 Sony.

I received the update last week on my DT and put the other machine on the priority list so MRV would start working again.

The same day I noticed the single tuner showing a status of pending restart, which I did.

Instead of taking the usual hour to process, it came back very quickly and did not have 9.1 on it.

I sent it on another call, and again, it was had the pending restart message. I've done this several times, as well as leaving it in that state so the 2am boot could run with it.

Still no update showing up. This has been going on since Thursday.

Any clues why this might be happening?

That thread probably won't be much help. Just pointing you to someone with same problem. Misery loves company.

I personally would suspect a hard drive problem.

Thank you. We're going to back up the shows just in case and look into getting a new hard drive - if it's idiot proof enough for us to do it.

My S3 and THD updated several days ago. My S2 has been pending restart 3 times, each time I restarted, each time I got the message that new software was being installed, but it never was.
