Season pass not recording suggestions?

Hello,

I had 2 season passes that didn't record tonight on my Premiere xl When I go into the screen that shows why a show didn't record it says that someone in my household wouldn't allow the channel to be changed. However I know for a fact that no one interfered with the TiVo during the recordings. To make it weirder it appears that the TiVo was recording suggested programs during this time frame on both tuners.

The really weird thing is that the TiVo recorded a show on the same channel as one of the missed recording the hour before as programmed so I don't know why it would even need to change channels for one of the programs.

Any ideas of what happened here and how to avoid it in the future.
