Personally I liked this episode more of the two. A little convoluted with various flashbacks and than J.D's flashbacks on top of that but still good. Small bit by Jason Bateman although with the three lines he had, he made them count.

I thought the Ostrich's were unneccesary or at least over the top. Reminded me too much of 'Dude Where's My Car.'

Yup, he made them count.

The ostrich part might have been unnecessary, but damn was it funny. I had quite a few laugh out loud moments.
Agreed. This was clearly a sequence in character with Scrubs' pledge to be more "out there" this season, but I think it pretty much worked. And the ostrich did look better in Turk's hat than Turk did!

This was a great episode. It was the funnier of the two but definitely not as clever as the first. Loved seeing Jason Bateman although after his first appearance with only two words I was a little disappointed. The second appearance made up for it.

The ostrich part would have been funnier if I had not already seen an ostrich bit this season on My Name Is Earl.
hehe...aah Good times... [Randy] I'm just going to lie down know and pretend to be dead [/Randy]

I still dug the Ostrich part...very "Dude Where's My Car"ish but still funny. Yup the humor and pathos mix can be startling. I commented that to my wife then immediately followed it up with "Well, Scrubs does that, don't they."

I thought the ostrich stuff was hysterical. When it kicked the gate shut, I literally LOL.

Who was the redheaded woman who played the guy's wife (the one who keeps calling Eliot "whore")? She looks so familiar.

I wonder...was he appearing as Zach Braff most recently, or as the porno director though?
On the contrary, many of us find the "Girls with low self-esteem" series to be high in artistic merit. :D

Most recently, however, I think Zach played himself as a celebrity guest at the "Save our Bluths" charity event and not the director, "Phillip Litt"
