S3 to HD3

Greetings all,

I just upgraded my S2 to a HD3 and I already have a Series 3. So my question is this... Can you do a MRV from a Series 3 box to a HD3 box since they are both HD boxes? I would try it out but I am currently updating the new HD3 box at this time.

Not yet. MRV/TTG functionality for the S3/THD boxes is supposedly coming in November.

No I think you misunderstand what I am saying here. I know S3 or HD3 can not transfer to a S2 but Can one S3 talk to another S3 or HD3 using MRV? I was talking to the Customer service rep. and she said that as long as they have the same version of the software it will work and I am not seeing that as the case.

I understood ... but the answer is still no. MRV and TTG are not enabled on the S3/THD boxes and won't be until November.

Is the November update the 9.1 Fall update for the Series 3 and the HD3 tivo?

Yes, it would seem so, but TTG/MRV are still disabled. It looks like 9.1 is laying the groundwork ...
