This is another long-distance support question...
My father has had some problems lately with his S2DT. Latest is that he will have a show being recorded.. or watching something on Live TV... and the signal will go out. He will get an error screen from the TiVo - which tells him to reboot.
He reboots... everything seems ok for several hours/days... and then the same thing happens again. I believe that this is happening on both tuners... and my assumption is that it is not the cable going out.
Is this the case of a bad hard drive(s)... which is easy to replace or
bad tuners... which is also easy to "replace" (i.e. buy a new unit) ?
