Hi all,

I will soon be adding a Tivo HD to my home. I already have an S2 which is connected to a Cox digital STB. I intend to keep the STB for the S2 for a while, because I don't trust cable cards yet such that I could reliably get my digital channels through them.

Question: will the S2's Cox STB be subject to any IR commands my Tivo remote would be sending to the Tivo HD? Or vice versa? I assume the answer is no but wanted to be sure.

You should not have any problems with IR command conflicts but you will need to set the TiVos to different IR command sets. See instructions here.
