Rogers Cable Hd Question

I have had my stb box hooked up to the tivo box not probleams at all.However i am looking at getting a hd rogers pvr.Would this work any issues.

Just keep the box you are using now for the TiVo, or use the TiVo on analog cable only. No problem in those cases. You might not like TiVo through a DVR.

Why would i not like tivo through a pvr.
There is no good reason to have one DVR control another DVR.

The probleam is i need to record hd.Here will do not have cable card so the tivo 3 is not a choice.
What's your cable company's excuse for not providing cable cards?

The crtc which looks after the channelss and radio side of thing will not allow cable cards.

Rogers cable is Canadian, there is no regulatory commision that has required any cable provider in Canada to provide Cable Cards

Last year the crtc did rule that any cable company as of now can not have cable cards.
