I was watching my TiVo last night then the welcome screen appeared. I waited for it to reboot but I noticed flashing lights in the right-hand corner flash and the box goes off for about a second. Then the welcome screen reappears and the aforementioned cycle starts all over again. What to do?

Unplug your Tivo from the power for a couple minutes, then plug it back in.... See if it comes up...

Sounds like a problem with the hard drive. This could be due to a drive going bad or a power supply going bad and not having enough power to spin up the drive.
