Just an FYI. My cable supported Edge does have the autoskip function and records 6 stations at once. So much better than old Roamiobb

Hmm, good to know. What cable provider are you on?

Can this be different on different cable providers? With so many cust service people at the provider that really dont know or have actual experience, I may be getting misinformation.

Any Roamio Plus/Pro running the TE4 software would have the same capability. The EDGE’s edge would be responsiveness and 4K, where available.

Yup, my Roamio with TE4 (its all I have used so do not know TE3 and dont want to lose my recorded content finding out)

BUT, the Roamio is bogging down more and more. Again, its all I know so I am used to it. I do realize that TE4 is likely bogging down the Roamio........
