My TiVo has not been able to update successfully for over a month.

It is connected to my network through MoCA client.
When I attempt TiVo Service Connection in Network Settings...
Preparing... Done
Connecting... Done
Getting Info... Connection Interrupted (after a few 30 seconds of a Downloading status)

I have checked my network with netstat and the ports mentioned in More info are not blocked.
I have restarted the router and tivo.
Neither helped.

There is another TiVo roamio on a different account in the basement connected to a couple minis that is also connected via MoCA to the same network that is updating without any problems.

I have contacted TiVo support a few times about it. They have opened tickets over the past few weeks but have no answers yet.

I don't know, could it have something to do with the Tivos being on different accounts? Is the Tivo in the basement creating the Moca network and is the problem Tivo trying to connect to the other account created Moca? Have you considered temporarily disconnecting Moca from the box that is not working and trying Wifi just to see if it solves the issue? Or maybe direct ethernet from the router to the box having the problem?

good luck with this I'm on my second box as I returned the first one I bought. I can't get by the connection interrupted error when downloading info either. I tried wireless/Ethernet cable, unblocked ports as requested by error message, restarted the router which is new as we switched to high sped internet a month ago. this box is properly activated & I got the online account to confirm this. in my thread it was suggested to try a different zip code in my area as some info might be corrupted he says I will try this tonight....

I got the box to work finally. all it was is the firewall was blocking the box from connecting. I turned down the firewall security & it then flew through all the set-up. since the firewall security settings are low now there's a security threat & I would like to turn the settings back on high, but if I do, this might cause slow video streaming or they might not work at all. is there a way the firewall can be configured so the box can function properly with the firewall back settings back on high?

I'm using Windows 10 with it's default settings. It has a lot of ways to change its settings.
