I have a TV Roamio TCD846500 that has started freezing when watching live TV. I can play a recorded show without the freezing. The freeze lasts about 13 seconds and happens about every 2 minutes. My MBT is 45-46 and I have good circulation around the TIVO. The fan is working and I have tried a different plug in power supply. I did not see any swollen caps on the internals.

MBT only tells the internal temperature.

Look in Settings / help / diagnostics and tell us the signal strength and SNR.

That is a bit high of signal. Tivo does not like signal that high and can pixelate. A 3db attenuator should help.

When I watch the show live, there is no pixelation with the picture breaking up. The screen just freezes where it is and then seconds later it resumes. For $8 from Amazon for an attenuator I will get one tomorrow and give it a try. Thanks
