For about the last 2-3 weeks or so, my Roamio has been crashing frequently either at or very near the end of recorded programs, during playback.

I'll get either very near to the end of the show, or to the very end, and the box spontaneously restarts.

This is with reported software version b-tcdclient-quattro-3-12.2017.04.19-2200-USA-6-846.

Is anyone else seeing similar behavior?

I've never seen a software version numbered like yours - when did your unit d/l it? Are you on the list for 'early d/l of new releases'?

I did participate in a test, but they were supposed to have rolled the software version back to the standard one. Maybe they didn't or it didn't roll back successfully, and that's the crux of the problem.

Give TiVo a call and ask them to 'push':

20.7.1.RC2-USA-6-846​

to your unit(s).

P.S. Would have been a good idea to lead with the test info...

Yeah the only reason I didn't was that the version was supposed to have been rolled back weeks ago, and I assumed (incorrectly) that it had been. Not being familiar with TiVo version strings, I didn't detect anything abnormal about this one.

I think you guys are confusing the "Software Version" (third item in the System Information screens) with the "HD Menus Software Version" near the bottom of the System Information screens.

HD Menu Software Version and Flash Player Version are no longer displayed on my Roamio or Mini.

Sorry about that I check the numbers on my Bolt not my Roamio. My Roamio also has a blank after HD Software Version. On the Bolt it is btcdui-quattro.3-12/2017.02.21-2124 or something close as I may have messed up copying it.
